Insights & Reflections from the FOH Summit 2022.

Four days of fruitful discussions, collaborations, great speakers, networking, delicious food, inspiring conversations have culminated in the FOH Leadership Symposium, a full day of panels and speakers attended by FOH members and other distinguished participants from across the global health ecosystem.

Here’s a glimpse into our busy agenda; Prof. Eyal Zimlichman, MD’s talk “From Vision to Innovation and Transformation” opened the Leadership symposium. Dr. Ryan Noach, CEO at Discovery Health led an interesting panel about “Equitable Access to Healthcare”.  Dr. Umang Patel, Chief Innovation Officer at Microsoft shared his perspective on “The Best of Times and the worst of Times: Can Data Help Us Anew?” Kevin Tabb, President & CEO  of Beth Israel Lahey Health moderated a highly anticipated session about “Healthcare Without an Addess”.  Dr. Björn Zoega Zoega, CEO of Karolinska University Hospital delivered a fascinating presentation about innovation strategy..

Mr. Thomas R. Nides, the Ambassador of the USA to Israel spoke about the “New Opportunities Propelled by the Abraham Accords” and then participated in a panel discussion led by Mr. Yaki Dayan, Israel’s former Consul General in Los Angeles that dealt with” Enhancing Health Cooperaation in the Abraham Accords Era”. This inspiring session was attended by His Excellency Khaled Yusuf Al Jalahma, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Israel and other distinguished guests from Bahrain, UAE and Morocco.

Dr. Stephen Klasko,  Executive in Residence at General Catalyst and the North American Ambassador of Sheba Medical Center led an interesting panel discussion on “Scaling Adoption og Innovation”. FOH member, Mr. Daryl Tol Head of Health Assurance Ecosystem at General Catalyst delivered a talk entitled “Innovation Doesn’t Walk Alone” and Dr. Gary Kaplan, MD Immediate past CEO of Virginia Mason and Member Board of Stewardship Trustees, CommonSpirit Health sealed the day with an interesting discussion about “Workforce of the Future.”

From the first evening at the Imperial Pub through the FOH Summit, the Gala Dinner at the Mamilla Hotel, Mr. Naftali Bennet as a guest speaker, the Jerusalem tour, and the culmination of four exciting days with the Leadership Symposium – we are so grateful to all of you for joining us this year and making the FOH Summit as successful as it was.
