CEO and Founder Global Health Transformers, Former Global Head of Healthcare, KPMG International

Anna van Poucke is a globally recognized healthcare leader, board member, and advisor with more than three decades of experience in transforming health systems and healthcare organizations. She is the CEO and co-founder of Global Health Transformers, an international advisory network of distinguished healthcare leaders dedicated to accelerating large-scale transformation across health systems worldwide.

Previously, Anna served as Global Head of Healthcare at KPMG International, where she led a global network of more than 5,000 professionals advising healthcare providers, governments, payors, and life sciences companies in over 70 countries. During her tenure, she helped shape the firm’s global healthcare strategy and led the expansion of its digital health and AI-enabled transformation capabilities.

Anna is widely recognized as a trusted advisor to ministers of health, hospital leaders, and healthcare executives across six continents. Her work focuses on the redesign of health systems, the integration of technology and AI in care delivery, sustainable financing models, and the future organization of healthcare. Earlier in her career, she served as CEO of the Dutch Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) and Pricing Office, where she led the development and nationwide implementation of the Netherlands’
healthcare reimbursement system for medical specialist and mental health care. She currently serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Dutch Patient Federation and is the Chair of the Supervisory Board of Haaglanden Medical Center. In addition, she holds non-executive board positions with life sciences companies in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Anna holds a PhD in Economic Sciences from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is fluent in Dutch, English, French, and German.
