Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer, Oracle Health & Life Sciences, USA

Dr. Bharat Sutariya is the Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer at Oracle Health & Life Sciences, where he leads the global business strategy and customer engagement. As an accomplished senior business and clinical executive, he brings extensive expertise in healthcare operations, technology leadership, and product development, including a strategic understanding of the potential of AI. He aligns market and customer needs across the provider, payer, and life sciences sectors with product advancement. He leads customer leadership collaboratives to connect and integrate input from senior
clinical, operational and business leaders. This work shapes the future of intelligent healthcare technology and a connected ecosystem that bridges research and care.

His prior experience includes spearheading the development of extensive healthcare technology product portfolios and leading large-scale implementations. Before joining Oracle, he was a leader in Deloitte’s Integrated Health practice, where he advanced clinical and operational transformations through technology. Previously, as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Cerner (now Oracle Health & Life Sciences), he played a pivotal role in developing Cerner’s core clinical EHR capabilities, value-based care platform and products, and data-driven performance improvement practice.

Dr. Sutariya is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and has practiced in Michigan and Kansas. He started his career at Detroit Medical Center (DMC), leading healthcare information technology implementation and clinical transformation across the integrated delivery network. He was a clinical assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine. His training in Emergency Medicine took place at the residency program of Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit,
Michigan.
