Dr. Ron Whelan is Chief Executive Officer of Discovery Health. A medical doctor with an MBA, he has held numerous senior executive positions at Discovery Health including strategy, M&A, health risk management, operations and healthcare services.
He is a member of the Discovery Group and SA Executive Committees and chairs the Discovery Health Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Discovery, Ron was Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and Partner at Spinnaker Growth Partners.
