The 7th FOH Summit provided an exceptional opportunity for FOH members and local healthcare leaders to come together, share knowledge, learn, and discuss the future of healthcare. The Summit commenced with a day packed with engaging panels, insightful presentations, and roundtable sessions where members from more than 14 countries shared experiences and insights from their respective organizations. These discussions fostered collaborative learning and generated actionable insights, setting a high bar for the following days.
Highlights from the FOH Summit 2024
The FOH Leadership Symposium, conducted on the second day, served as a vibrant platform for discussing the most pressing issues in the healthcare industry. The day featured a diverse mix of panels and presentations, each covering a broad spectrum of topics. Dr. Gary Kaplan, Immediate Past CEO of Virginia Mason and Board Member at CommonSpirit Health, led a timely panel discussion on the evolving landscape of healthcare professions. Chip Kahn, FOH Co-chairman and President and CEO of the FAH, moderated a panel that explored new approaches to enhancing patient safety globally. Additionally, Global Healthcare Executive Jan Van Acker spearheaded a discussion on how healthcare systems can integrate real-time data to improve outcomes and decision-making processes. Kevin Tabb, President and CEO of Beth Israel Lahey Health, led an engaging session on the integration of interdisciplinary partnerships to better address the needs of populations.
The panel sessions were complemented by inspiring 10-minute Health Talks, where FOH members delivered highly engaging presentations on various healthcare-related topics, and a thought-provoking fireside chat on Democratizing Clinical Trials, hosted by Steve Klasko, Executive in Residence at General Catalyst.
The FOH Summit 2024 was not merely a forum for discussions and educational exchanges; it was a celebration of community and shared experiences. From the beautiful hotel setting, a lively cocktail event and the unforgettable performance at the Gala dinner, to a yacht trip along the Cape Town shore and a sightseeing trip to Table Mountain, the schedule was packed with memorable experiences.
